Wes Smith, MD, General Surgery

Dr. Wes Smith is a senior partner of Northeast Alabama Surgical Associates and has been a member of the group since 1998.  He has served as the Chief of Surgery at both Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center and Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the Calhoun County Community Foundation, The Calhoun County Community YMCA, and the Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation.  Dr. Smith is married to Cherie Smith and has three children: Margaret, Elizabeth, and Robert.  He is a member of First United Methodist Church.  Dr. Smith is on staff at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, Stringfellow Memorial Hospital, and Jacksonville Medical Center.  He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and is currently accepting new patients.
