Richard Curtin, MD, General Surgery Dr. Curtin is a senior partner of Northeast Alabama Surgical Associates and has been a member of the group since 1991. He recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Alabama Air National Guard at the 117th Refueling Wing TAC Hospital in Birmingham. As flying is a particular interest of his, he performs the majority of the FAA Flight Physicals for this part of the state. He is ATLS certified. Dr. Curtin is married to Eileen Curtin and has three children: Maureen, Kathleen, and Michael. He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dr. Curtin is on staff at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, Stringfellow Memorial Hospital, and The Surgery Center in Oxford. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and is currently accepting new patients. He is licensed in Alabama.
