Angel Farinas MD, Plastic Surgery

Dr. Angel Farinas specializes in the full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His patient-centric approach and genuine, warm, caring demeanor have afforded his patients a great level of comfort while navigating through their surgical journey.  Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and son of a plastic surgeon; Dr. Farinas obtained his medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela. After medical school, he came to the United States and completed his general surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He practiced as a General Surgeon around the Atlanta area to obtain his permanent residency in this country. During this time, he acted as Associate Professor of Augusta University and PCOM medical school.  In 2015, he was nominated as Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After this, he focused his career into research at Vanderbilt University. He continued his training and completed his clinical fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oklahoma University. He is fluent in Spanish and English. He is very excited to bring his expertise to our area, giving elite and personalized care to his patients.
